Working with Invoice Rows

We've explained Invoice Rows HERE  - now let's look at the specific functionality around invoice rows.

The Debtors Transaction Cell

By Right clicking the cell “Debtors Transactions” a user can either:

Fill from ML:
Use our Machine Learning algorithm to move all Debtors Invoices to their expected Due Dates OR
Restore Invoices:      Set all Transactions to appear at their Due Date, removing any ML or Manual adjustments it may have.

The Creditors Transaction Cell has no further functionality.

Non-Header Cells

By right clicking any of the cells in this section other than the header, and selecting View Transactions, the transactions on that date will be displayed and further actions can be taken.

The Transactions For Date Pane

Exporting

By clicking either of the export buttons at the top, this view is exported to the selected filetype.

Depending on your browser, additional steps to complete the download may be necessary

Manually Adjusting Display Dates

Each Transaction can be moved to another date based on when the user thinks a payment is going to be made.

Simply double-click the Adjusted Due Date of the transaction you wish to move, and use the calendar to pick a new date.

When all of the transactions you wish to move have been modified, click save changes, and the transactions will appear at the relevant location in the sheet.

Split Transaction

The + button on each row allow the user to split a transaction into a range of sub-transactions, to represent when a Customer makes payment in multiple installments over time.

Add part payment rows to the pane and fill them with Dates and Amounts – note that the form will not allow part payments under $1, and will not allow the user to save until the entire transaction’s value is allocated.

When this is saved, the sub-transactions will appear in the chart at the dates allocated and be denoted in the Transactions For Date Pane as <Transaction Number>_SPLIT

Revert Transaction

The Undo button on each row resets the transaction to its original Due Date and removes the result of any splits for this transaction.

Important:
This cannot be undone, and any adjustments or transaction splits will need to be recreated.
