My Customer’s Expected Payment pattern seems off. Why?
Our Machine Learning algorithm
takes into account each customer’s payment pattern and how it correlates with
invoice amounts.
Customers that pay consistently should appear
consistent, but a few things may throw out the algorithm including:
o Customers
that mix Debit and Manual payments, especially where the Debit payments take
more than three days to finalise;
o Customers
with no discernable payment pattern;
o Customers
with very few payments over the last three years;
o Business
practices that result in invoices remaining unfinaliiseded for a long period (e.g.
lengthy stock backorder waits, where the invoice is not split)
Important:
Our Machine Learning algorithms
are guides, and cannot make predictions with 100% accuracy.
