How do I display a Parameter value on a Dashboard?
If you have set up a Dashboard to have some Parameters to limit the data with the Dashboard is run you can display the Parameter values on your Dashboard.
Here’s how:
You need to add the parameter to the list of fields available in the Data Source within the Dashboard.
To do this you need to edit the Dashboard layout and when in the edit screen click on the 3 horizontal lines as per the red box, in this screenshot.
Now click on Data Sources and then on the right-hand side click on Add Calculated Field
Add the Parameter into the calculated field and name appropriately.
Now these calculated fields with the Parameter values can be used in components within the Dashboard as per the following example.
