Email spoofing is a serious concern in business today, and many mail servers conduct checks on incoming mail to ensure it comes from the sender listed on the email.
In order for your emails to come from your domain (@<YourCompany>.com) we need settings to be uploaded to your domain provider's records.
From the Setup Page, open the Custom Sender Address button.
On the first time you access this, the page will be mostly blank, and you will need to enter your Mail Server address.
Click "Get Records" and you will be shown the records you need to insert to your domain provider's toolkit, like below:
Each domain provider has a different way to access and enter these records, and we've included a few below:
Once these records have been entered, click the Verify Records & Save button. You'll now be able to set up a custom From Address.
Completing the
Verification step activates billing for this service - please see our
Pricing page for the exact charges
Once this step is complete and the records are fully verified, you can go back to Setup -> App Settings.
Enter the desired email details into the "From Address" box and save the page.
(Note that the validated domain is already shown, so you only need to enter the email part before the @ symbol).
The Custom From address must match the Domain put into this screen.
