Customer Menu Overview

Here we'll explain how you can use the Customer screen in Sales.Live, what you can see and how you can customise it.


Working in the Customer Screen


In the Sales .Live Home Menu you have a Customers option.


Here you can see at a glance the key information about your customers, search for a particular customer and drill down to see further details.

You can sort and filter the list and the columns can be customised to show what’s most important to you.




Search or Filter by any column



Search for text in any column by keying into the Search box:




Key text into one or more columns of the auto-filter row to filter for records containing that text:




Choose your Columns


Your list of customers can include just the columns you want. Just press the 'Customise Grid' button:



... then select the 'Column Chooser' tab.

Click the indicator on the right to turn columns on or off (here we've chosen to hide the Group)


Re-arrange your Columns


If you prefer to have the columns in a different order, just click and drag the column headings to the positions you want.

Sort


Just click on a column heading to sort the list by that column:



The sort indicator shows if the list is in ascending or descending order. Click the column heading again to reverse the sort.


You can sort by multiple columns by holding the Shift key and clicking another column heading.


For example the list below is sorted by Name (ascending) and Main Contact (descending):

You can view the full details of each customer by clicking on the Details button:
